Desert Winds review in WUSIK Soundmagazine


WHAT DO I THINK?
No doubt this is a unique, specialized library. That's cool and all, but I have to say that the detail and realism of the sounds are out of this world. I've been a fan of Eduardo's libraries ever since he released 'Sampled Landscape' a few years ago. His work always speaks quality, of which I think Desert Winds is among his best. This library is heaven-sent for those of us who do not know how to play these wind instruments. I know it takes time to practice and get acclimated with an instrument, but with Desert Winds' you get convincing sound and amazing playability that you can incorporate into your own arrangements. Producers like you and me have finally found the missing piece that was once buried in the sands of time. Best Service and Eduardo Tarilonte deliver a sure winner here.

Ja, man darf mehr als nur eine bestimmte Library mögen als Tester und erst recht als Komponist! Soviel zu einer neulich gestellten Frage eines Lesers. Ich finde die Hollywood Brass natürlich sensationell und auch sind die Produkte von Vienna Symphonic Library sehr gut. Aber bei  Chris Hein Compact wurde ich überrascht, denn angesichts dessen, was diese Library bietet und klingt, muss man eindeutig von einem Schnäppchen sprechen, in jeder Beziehung! Einsetzen kann man die Library sowohl in der Pop-, Rock-, Funkmusik, als auch in der Filmmusik. Was sie einfach zu einem coolen Produkt macht... für uns alle! Kaufen/wünschen. Das ist das einzige, was ich empfehlen kann.

...Klanghaus effortlessly avoids the mainstream; its non‑standard approach should provoke a correspondingly creative response from the artistic community (that’s you, dear reader). This is not a go‑to library for banging dance beats, though there’s no reason why its contents can’t be channelled into creating some awesome grooves. In this utilitarian, conformist age, it’s great to hear some genuinely new, experimental sounds, and given the unique nature of the instruments, we should be grateful that their inventor decided to throw open the doors of his Klanghaus.
