True Strike 1 Orchestral Percussion

This new, re-released version of TRUE STRIKE has been completely re-designed for the Kontakt format and comes with Native Instruments Kontakt Player 3.5. New features include a re-structured instrument list, a streamlined audio pool and a custom interface with on-screen ADSR control, instrument information and other options.

Van de makers van de Project Sam Brass Series - Sam Horns, Trombones, Trumpets en Solo Sessions – is hier de eerste verzameling in een nieuwe serie: Sam True Strike, orkestrale percussie samples. Nu ook beschikbaar als een Virtual Instrument, gebaseerd op Steinberg’s HALion technologie. Deze set omvat 51 tot in de puntjes gesamplede percussie instrumenten, met kleine en grote percussie instrumenten, vijf melodieuze percussie instrumenten en bovendien een groot aantal niet-klassieke ‘crossover’ sounds.

De klanken zijn beschikbaar in de bekende drie microfoonstanden: close, stage en far, wat Sam True Strike de meest krachtige en veelzijdige set percussie klanken op de markt maakt. Een voorbeeld van de instrumenten en mogelijkheden die True Strike te bieden heeft: een 5 Gb timpani set (3 mic settings) met een groot bereik aan crescendo en diminuendo rolls, gebogen noten en moderne speeltechnieken. Krachtige gran casa, snaredrum en snare ensembles – opgenomen zowel mét als zonder snares, met zes variaties per hit – militaire drums, field drum en toms, incl. Een grote variatie aan typische frasen en rolls.

Een ander indrukwekkend aspect aan True Strike zijn de ensemble hits – verschillende instrumenten, tegelijkertijd bespeeld. Vijf melodieuze instrumenten zijn er beschikbaar: glockenspiel, xylofoon, marimba, vibrafoon en celesta; waarbij van de laatste True Strike voorziet in de allereerste 3-mic sampleset ooit. Naast symfonische instrumenten is er ook een groot aantal crossover instrumenten opgenomen, zoals bongo’s, conga’s, timbalen, crotalen, Thai gongs en ‘body percussion’.

Recording specs
TRUE STRIKE was recorded in a beautiful concert hall environment. All samples in TRUE STRIKE are offered to you in 3 microphone sets, each with its own unique sound:

* Close mic (bright and direct)
* Stage mic (orchestral setting)
* Far mic (wide and ambient, surround)

All instruments were recorded at 88.2/24 and are offered at 44.1/24.

Library size
