Notre Dame de Budapest Pipe Organ Samples (NDB)is a comprehensive sampling library containing pipe organ sound samples in Kontakt format. It features the sound of two symphonic organs from two famous Hungarian cathedrals with an unmatched level of authenticity. Both cathedrals have ´Our Lady´ in their names - that´s where the name ´Notre Dame´ comes from. Together with many serious organists and pipe organ experts, they have carefully selcted and captured all important stops and combinations for you and your studio. Now you can play these organs just as if you were playing the original ones a the cathedral.
The library is special in several ways. It is the first time in the sampling history that practically every important part of a pipe organ is recorded, including the organ engine itself. This results in a huge amount of data. You can hear a rich pipe organ sound with the natural reverb of the cathedrals, with all interferences at the organ case, all sound transients...like never before.
Also for the first time in the world, you can play the stops located in the swellbox using the sweller pedal. You can turn on the tremolo effect on the appropriate stops, for example the Bourdon, Sesquialtera or Hautbois. You have real crescendo - just like on a real pipe organ. With the collection of stops and combinations, you can play every organ piece from the organ literature, from pre-baroque to post-modern.
