Suite Grooves

In de jaren ’90 zag een nieuw instrumentaal genre het licht: smooth jazz. Geboren uit een combinatie van de funky jazz-instrumentals uit de jaren ’70, en de groovy R&B uit de jaren ’80, ontstond een muziekstijl die al snel niet meer van de radio weg te denken was. Producer Jeff Carruthers heeft een respectabel aantal smooth jazz hits op zijn naam en hij verzorgde voor Suite Grooves 4,3 GB aan zinderende saxofoons, trompetten, toetsen, gitaar, bas, piano, drums, percussie en meer… (1,82 GB aan WAV bestanden, 29 constructiekits).
