Accordions

Accordions is een indrukwekkende accordeon sampleset, van de hand van Eduardo Tarilonte. Met deze set speel je in real-time ultrarealistische accordeonmelodieën en akkoorden. Alle subtiele klankaspecten van een accordeon zijn zo minutieus in deze set verwerkt – je zou bíjna gaan denken dat je klavier werkelijk aan een balg hing, in plaats van een set kabels! Tot de toets- en knopgeluidjes aan toe, hoor je alles van de accordeon terug in de geperfectioneerde samples.
Acht verschillende accordeons werden tot in het kleinste detail gesampled, waaronder ook een ware A-A (Alfred Arnold) Bandoneon, uit de jaren 1930: een ware klanksensatie! Dit model gebruikte tangopionier Astor Piazzolla ook! Tevens vind je in deze set acht perfect gebalanceerde multi’s met geweldige combinaties en registers. Accordeons kunnen in vele verschillende producties en stijlen worden gebruikt, van filmmuziek tot romantische folk stijlen, zoals Celtic, Tex-Mex of Zuid-Amerikaans.

What’s the bottom line?

If you’re looking for accordion samples, this is one to check out for sure.
Not an “all purpose” library by any means, so you may or may not find use for it in your music.
But you know me, I like to checkout the “specialized” libraries as much as the more general instruments.

I give Accordions 4 out of 5 subs. I think the sound and play-ability is on point, and the interface is very well scripted for instant control.
