Urbanic II

Urbanic II is de opvolger van de bekende topper, Urbanic. Nummer II is een geheel nieuwe, massieve release, met niet minder dan 30 constructiekits, 3,8 GB aan knallende HipHop, maar ook soortgelijke genres, zoals Crunk R&B en Dancehall. Alle constructiekits zijn volgeknald met verbijsterende samples, beats, gitaren, baslijntjes, synths, pads, effecten en een hele reeks aan drum en percussie geluiden. Elke sample op Urbanic II is gelabeld met BPM informatie en toonhoogte (key signature). Verder bevat elke kit drie sub-kits en een drum-shot folder: het materiaal is als volgt georganiseerd:

• Main Kit – Omvat het hoofdthema, de klanken en de frasen
• Variation Kit – Biedt een alternatieve track en frasen die zijn gebruikt voor contrast in het hoofdthema
• Intro/Outro Kit – Hier vind je de passende intro of outro bij de kit; ook opgesplitst in de individuele onderdelen
• Drum Shots – Alle losse geluiden uit de kit vind je centraal in deze folder, dus is het eenvoudig om ieder gewenst geluid hier los terug te vinden

Urbanic II is based, just as its predecessor, on Construction-Kits. But in this case we have 4 Kits for each „song“: intro, main, outro and variation - and tey all come with single lines of every instrument.

Although the arrangments are all fix which blocks the creativity, the material is top notch and the concept does its job as good as it gets - supported by a fat and real sound. In this category Ueberschall is in most of the time ahead of its competitors: It sounds complete and professionally produced. Wide, epic and melodic sounds, not the dark and aggresive HipHop from the streets.

Urbanic Producer Pack however is something completely different. Instead of Construction Kits you find a huge collection of loops- and singlesounds suiting every HipHop-Sound and sorted like a menu (percussion, keyboards, bass, acoustic-loops, etc.). In this way you can create your own Kits or open up multiple Elastiks to combine them.
