Every evolving and organic drone has between 2 and 8 different layers that can be simply tweaked to get an unlimited number of combinations. Epic World textures are derived from acoustic sources so all the amazing atmospheres you hear predominantly have a „real“ as opposed to a synthesised sound.

THE LIBRARY
Epic World is a 7GB library (24 Bit/ 44.1kHz) with more than 350 patches, including drones, pads, instruments, voices, whooshes, sfx and more than 1000 loops, instruments and vocal phrases. It contains a huge arsenal of sonic landscapes that go from bright to dark, from soft to powerful and from magical to haunting. Thanks to Best Service ENGINE 2 "more than a sample player" you will enjoy a beautiful, intuitive and easy to use interface. No further sampler is required.

bottom line

Get it! Seriously.

If you’re into cinematic libraries, or even just organic soundscapes and pads, get this. No question.
It’s just an all around high quality, fun to play, easy to use library that just sounds incredible.
I’ve always loved ambient pads and sounds, the flutes in here are very awesome. The pads are so smooth and lush, and the drones can be movie scenes on their own.
I give this library 5 out of 5 subs, it’s really great and really offers an alternative to a lot of the “me too” cinematic libraries out here. I like that it doesn’t go with the “synthetic” standard many seem to follow, and because of that, the sound it brings is refreshing and unique.
I feel like I’ve waited to long to checkout what Eduardo Tarilonte is doing, but I’m glad I did…I absolutely love his stuff! I will definitely be looking forward to more from him.

VERDICT
Epic World has got everything you need to make a professional soundscape production. It is very versatile; pretty much any genre is covered. The patches are programmed very well, and the sound-sculpting tools it comes with gives users a ton of tweaking possibilities. If you´re a producer who´s looking for an instrument for quick results, many quality sounds, and one that will invite you to start composing, then Epic World is worth considering. It is not cheap, but it is highly recommended.
