The Resource is the successful collection of the already known 120er series by Ueberschall. The soundquality is very high and the single licks are diversified and inspiring. The new Elastik-Player does a good job. It is possible ot create and save your own user presets. The new timestretching- and pitchshifting-engine works better and faster as the engine by Prosoniq.(...)

The Elastik-Player is a good counterpart to the solo-instrument oriented L.I.S. PlugIn (Ueberschall Liquid) and „The Resource“, as first library, makes a very good start with its huge content (...). But more important are the upcoming libraries while they promise a wider bandwith plus a specification on single styles.

Who likes to work with loops can‘t do anything wrong by buying Elastik. „The Resource“ is a good collection for a good price and gives a wide variation of loops to experiment with all night and day. Who prefers more specific samples should wait for the next library that Ueberschall will release.

Because of the easy handling this plugin will find its way into every project very fast. whether to create a new song from scratch up or just to build in some fresh licks into an already existing arrangment.

The library covers an extremly large bandwidth of styles and the samples have a very good audio quality. The material could be used in any kind of genre. We especially liked the beats from PLP120 and BPM120 and the solo guitar- and horn-licks from VLP120. The cutting and rearranging of loops is a piece of cake and a good support for a flexible workflow. Conventional loop-libraries can‘t mess with this and even the use of external beatslicers is more complicated. The Elastik-Engine combines a synced slicing mode with an user friendly interface. The synchronisation to the host sequencer and the time-stretch algorithm work fast and create good results. Although the quality of Liquid (the other Ueberschall player) is not reached.
All in all „The Resource“ is an extremly versatile enrichment for every audio library for a very good price. Because of the easy handling this plugin will find its way into every project very fast. whether to create a new song from scratch up or just to build in some fresh licks into an already existing arrangment.
