This library was produced the same way the best Hip Hop and R´n B tunes are. From creating and mixing the construction kits - with a unique way to analyse and process the sounds -, to the mastering, done at Sterling Sounds in New York by top mastering engineer Chris Gerhinger. The result is that punchy sound you won´t find anywhere else. All recorded at 24-bit 96 kHz resolution.

Unprecedent flexibility, compatible with MOTU BPM

Even if the library can be used right away with the included UVI Workstation, it also contains datas for the new MOTU BPM format, making the library completely flexible with the patterns and kits in BPM format and allowing thousands of combinations.

Hip Hop Planet contains 87 construction kits produced by Eric K-Roz for EKOLOOPZ. From these kits were extracted over 3.5 GB and thousands of all-new, never-before-released loops, samples and beats. All organised in different way:

HOW TO USE THE UVI SOUNDCARD EKOLOOPZ - Hip Hop Planet?

The UVI SOUNDCARD libraries are dedicated to be used with the brand new UVI WORKSTATION, the MOTU MachFive II virtual sampler and BPM. The UVI WORKSTATION is a multi-timbral software instrument that provides unlimited parts, integrated effects, live performance feature, and a smooth real-time workflow. It operates as a MAC/PC stand alone application and as a virtual instrument software plug-in compatible with Mac OSX and Windows for all major hosts sequencers.

In order to get your soundpack working, you need to transfer the matching license to your iLok (required for authorisation):
1- Go to www.iLok.com
2- Log in to you account using your details
3- Synchronize your iLok key with the new license(s) you automatically got from shopping.
Please ensure you have your iLok connected on an USB port., launch UVI Workstation or MachFive2, and here you are, ready to play with the sounds.

The UVI-Engine comes from one very simple desire: absolute sound quality.
None of the instruments using it today would have any value if they didn’t sound better than most samplers and sample playback modules ever made. We’re doing this by using a 32 bit floating point architecture throughout the signal path. The sound always comes first in the instruments that Ultimate Sound Bank is involved with.

ULTIMATE SIMPLICITY
One other key point between all the UVI Engine instrument is simplicity. Easy to use is a key feature for us, never forgotten in our design. Being a plug-in means that your settings will be saved when you save your sequence, for instance. We also try to have as many controls visible in the same window, and encourage our UVI-Engine partners to do this too.

Product activation:
This Instrument requires an iLok Key!
This USB protection device  is not included in the box of this collection, it is a separate item you have to buy additionally. So you’ll have to order at least one iLok Key with your first purchase. It will be put inside the shopping basket automatically but can be deleted if not required. If you already own another iLok  protection device you can use it for this instrument, too. Each iLok dongle can store up to 100 product licenses.
Additionally an internet connection on any computer and a free user-accout at www.ilok.com is required to authorize the product.
