The TRINITY System
The central idea of TRINITY DRUMS is the separation of the different elements of a groove. Every rhythmic theme is divided by frequency into three independent layers (Low, Mid and High Drums) which together will form a full groove, but can be combined at will. Each of these layers is available in multiple variations of different complexity, providing maximum flexibility to adjust them to your composition.
Playable Groove Variations
With the Phrase Sync Mode it is possible to switch and combine different variations and layers of a groove live on your keyboard without descending into rhythmic chaos. The instrument intelligently adjusts the timing of newly triggered grooves to fit the currently playing rhythm, creating an intuitively playable instrument.
Open Layer Exchange
With a large variety of rhythmic themes, TRINITY DRUMS is designed to inspire and support the composition process. Trying something new and combining different ideas can be an enormous source of inspiration. That is why this instrument gives you the possibility to exchange single layers between suitable themes to create completely new styles.

The sound quality and versatility of the included rhythms, really well designed for classical cinematic big percussion clips, make this library quite essential. Due to some limitations this definitely cant be your one and only big percussive cinematic library, but whenever someone asks you to make a cinematic clip in the next few hours, this one could save the day.
..however, the interesting - and rather clever - bit is how these loops are presented and accessed. In each case, every complete drum performance has been split into three layers -low, mid and high - and you can trigger each layer independently....

Trinity Drums bietet ein großes Angebot produktionsfertiger Grooves, die thematisch sortiert sind und jeweils eine ausreichende Anzahl von Varianten beinhalten. Bei jedem Thema kann man aus dem Vollen schöpfen und in Echtzeit dichte und weniger dichte Rhythmen sowie Teilrhythmen der drei Layer Low, Mid und High kombinieren. Dank Phrase Sync Modus gelingt das auch bei ungenauem Spiel in den meisten Fällen perfekt und macht richtig Spaß.
Klanglich hat sich der Hersteller auf meist effektvolle bis spektakuläre Beats festgelegt, die in vielen Tempi und auch ungeraden Taktarten angeboten werden. Hier wurden Klangerzeuger aller Art und die unterschiedlichsten Effekte verarbeitet und in Samples gegossen.
Man erhält weitgehend fertig produzierte Hybrid-Grooves mit geschmackvollem Klangdesign und angenehmer Tiefenstaffelung, die sich in erster Linie für die Spielevertonung, Multimedia und die Filmmusik eignen. Die Hybrid-Grooves sind überwiegend frisch und modern gestylt, nicht klassisch oder gar puristisch, ethnisch.

Trinity Drums in general sounds good. Theres good amount of variation between the different themes. The cinematic category sounds more traditional and organic while the modern more electronic and mechanical.
I have no doubts about this ending up on many tension cues for TV for example, it is a highly usable library, easy and fast to use and sounds convincing and reasonably high quality. The Phrase-sync option is a very welcome feature that will speed things up for people on a deadline.
